Winter 2022

January 7-March 4 + Campout March 11-13 • Fridays 1-5 pm • 4th-8th Grade Girls • No Cost
Gain winter adventure skills by mode of cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. Develop outdoor competence through experiential lessons on shelter construction, fire building, backcountry cooking, trip preparation, and more!

Spring 2022

March 30-May 25 + Campout May 28-29 • Wednesdays 1:30-5pm • 4th-8th Grade Girls • No Cost
Mountain bike in a non-competitive setting! Connect with other girls, enhance your riding abilities, gain skills in bike maintenance, and learn what it takes to improve & maintain the trails we ride. No prior experience necessary.

Junior Coaches Spring 2022

April 4-May 17 • 6 Selected Mondays/Tuesdays 3:30-6 pm • Seasoned Gear Girls • No Cost
Take the next step in becoming a Gear Girls leader. Learn how to coach with compassion, respond to basic first aid needs, and exemplify leadership during GG rides. Collaborate with fellow Junior Coaches to organize & facilitate a Gear Girls event.

Peaks to Park 2022

June 7-11 • Experienced Mountain Bikers • All Genders • Ages 13-15
Embark on a multi-day ride along the Arizona Trail from the San Francisco Peaks to Grand Canyon National Park. This is a vehicle-supported ride.

Bikepacking Trip 2022

Dates in July 2022 TBD • Experienced Mountain Bikers • All Genders • Ages 14-17
For Summer 2022, we’re brewing up another multi-day ride along the Arizona Trail! This is a self-supported advenutre from the Grand Canyon
North Rim to the Arizona-Utah border. Stay tuned for details.

Fall 2022

September 7-November 11 • Wednesdays 1:30-5 or Fridays 1:30-5 • 4th-8th Grade Girls • No Cost
Make it a fun, challenging, rewarding, and memorable fall by mountain biking Flagstaff’s stellar trails with Gear Girls. Overcome technical obstacles, learn how to be an exemplary team player, gain more confidence in your riding abilities, and give back through trail work.
