Tusayan & Grand Canyon Village

The town of Tusayan is just south of the Grand Canyon National Park entrance. Most facilities in the Grand Canyon are located 2.5 miles from the South Kaibab trailhead.

  • Grand Canyon Community Library (208 Navajo St.), (928) 638-2718. The library makes available eight public computers with a small charge per half-hour and has free wi-fi 24/7, which can also be accessed outside the building. Open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 am to 5 pm.
  • Holiday Inn Express (Hwy. 64 in Tusayan), (928) 638-3000. You don’t have to stay at this Holiday Inn to get lobby access to free wi-fi. Open 24 hours daily.

Lodging

  • The accommodations in the park at the Grand Canyon range from the more modestly priced Maswik and Bright Angel Lodges to the opulent El Tovar. For reservations, visit grandcanyonlodges.com.

  • 7 Mile Lodge (56 Powell Ave), (928) 638-2291. Inexpensive accommodations, does not take reservations.
  • The Grand Hotel (149 State Route 64, PO Box 3319), (928) 638-3333. If you’re looking for an upscale place to stay in Tusayan, The Grand can’t be beat.

Bike Rental

  • Grand Canyon Village: coin-operated laundry and shower facilities are available next to Mather Campground. Hours vary seasonally.
