Premier Legacy Partners
Legacy Partners are corporate, nonprofit and government agencies that commit to contributing $10,000 in a year or $2,500 or more annually for five years or longer to support the Arizona Trail Association. Their generous contributions support the preservation of the Arizona Trail and will leave a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
Keep Nature Wild
Keep Nature Wild creates outdoor-inspired goods with the mission to pick up one pound of trash for each product sold. They donated 100% of all sticker proceeds through their 2019 Keep It Super Sticker initiative directly to the Arizona Trail Association to help in the restoration of the portions of the trail that have been affected by the Woodbury Fire in the Superstition Wilderness.
National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance
The mission of the NWSA is to develop a growing network of volunteer-based organizations to provide stewardship for America’s enduring resource of wilderness. Their support of the ATA allows us to protect and nurture the character and values of the wilderness areas that the AZT crosses.

Arizona G&T Cooperatives
Arizona G&T Cooperatives is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric generation and transmission (G&T) cooperatives. Working together, their employees fulfill the joint mission of providing reliable, affordable power to electric coops across the Southwest. Arizona G&T Cooperatives provides power to more than 160,000 electric meters and 400,000 people in Arizona, California and New Mexico through six Class A Member distribution cooperatives. One of 63 G&T electric coops in the nation, Arizona G&T Cooperatives owns and operates Apache Generating Station near Cochise, east of Benson. The plant has a combined gross generating capacity of 605 megawatts. They also purchase power to meet member energy needs during peak summer energy use.
AZT Expeditions is new program offered in partnership with the Arizona Trail Association with the goal of supporting multi-day expeditions for mountain bikers, hikers and trail runners along the Arizona National Scenic Trail. Trips are largely operated as “self-guided” adventures, where adventurers are responsible for guiding themselves down the trail and cooking for themselves at camp. AZT Expeditions meets you at predetermined camp locations along the trail with a deluxe kitchen, water, chairs, firewood, your personal gear and other amenities. At the core of AZT Expeditions’s mission is a love of the Arizona National Scenic Trail. They are committed to maintaining the trail, and a portion of the proceeds from AZT Expeditions trips benefits the ATA.

County Line Riders of Catalina
The Catalina County Line Riders is a horseback riding club established in June 1994 with the goals of preserving trails, trail access and the equestrian lifestyle. We build and/or maintain sections of the 50 year Trail and the Tortolita Preserve Trail in Marana and work closely with several agencies in Pima County, Pinal County and the Town of Marana to preserve trails and access to those trials. We are also a member of the Adopt-A-Ranch Program. We sponsor monthly meetings with educational speakers, trail rides and overnight camping trips. Members receive a monthly Newsletter containing full details on all events.
Damion Alexander is a Realtor with Long Realty who has a love for Tucson’s mountains, desert, clouds, wildlife, hiking, biking, murals, culture, and most everything else in sight. PBD Ultralight is a small company in Scottsdale, Arizona started by a group of avid hikers wanting something more than the big box stores could offer. They create simple ultra-lightweight products in a wide range of colors, but at a reasonable price. All products are designed and thoroughly tested “on trail”. Peace Surplus was founded in 1973 in downtown Tucson by the Chatinsky family. The store’s roots were based in military surplus with an ample supply of weather balloons, parachutes, military fatigues, gurneys, ammo cans and much more. Even though they continue to carry the surplus name, the store has evolved into a full-service outdoor, camping, hiking, and backpacking store.

Besides reading enjoyment, the purpose of “The Red Tail Tale on the Arizona Trail” is to give exposure to and provide a funding source for the Arizona National Scenic Trail, particularly the programs of the Arizona Trail Association. Up to 100% of the profits generated by this book will be donated to the Arizona Trail Association.
Saddlebrooke Hiking Club
The SaddleBrooke Hiking Club has over five-hundred energetic, enthusiastic members. The club’s main activity and focus is hiking. Members also gather periodically for social hours, picnics, and trail work days. Membership in the club is open to all SaddleBrooke residents.
