The ATA has worked in partnership with local trail professionals and Outdoor Evolution Media to create a series of online training sessions designed to to provide Arizona Trail volunteers an introduction to the basics of non-motorized recreational trail maintenance. The series is meant as a supplement to our in-person Trail Skills Institute (TSI) sessions, and introduces many of the concepts that are covered in Modules 1 and 2 of the TSI.

Special thanks to Mark Loseth of American Conservation Experience (ACE) and Nate Peters of Arizona Conservation Corps (AzCC) for instructing in these sessions. We also appreciate the support of Flagline Trails for initial content development and technical assistance.

There are eight videos from the series available below or from the ATA’s Youtube channel.

Online Trail Skills Certificate

A short quiz follows each of the videos. Complete each and you can receive a physical and digital Certificate as well as bragging rights, and maybe some fun AZT swag!
