ARIZONA TRAIL DATABOOK CHANGE LOG

The Databook serves as a turn by turn list for the entire Arizona Trail.  As the Arizona Trail changes fairly regularly from trail improvements through reroutes to improve the trail, the Databook is updated fairly regularly. The information below shows the changes that were made for each version date.

Version Date: 12/15/23

  • Recalculation of mileages for the entire AZT, especially passage 4 – Casa Blanca Canyons

Version Date: 6/26/23

  • Reroute in passage 15 from 2 track road to singletrack at mile 10.6
  • Small several reroutes in passage 33 in schultz creek

Version Date: 5/15/23

  • Completion of the multi-year Temporal Gulch Reroute, renaming passage to Casa Blanca Canyons, and the entire passage stays out of the wilderness.   Note: Actual passage mileage is 20.8 miles while many products show 27.1 miles.  This is due to the need to recalculate the entire trail mileage which will be done in the winter of 2023 to correct this.
