As part of the Bi-annual Steward Conference there is a workday training also involved. This year the first Steward Conference was held at the Arboretum in Superior. On the second day of the Steward Conference a hearty bunch of Stewards braved FS 650 and went out to Reavis Canyon TH to do some hands on work. You will have to take my word for it since we forgot to take pictures of everyone in action. This true and tried set of Stewards put in fortified stone crossing, assessed down tree in creek crossing and how to handle, and repaired trail damage by cutting new and old drains plus repairing eroded trail. It was a great 3 hour event and each Steward was able to take something away from the Steward Conference.
