We’re excited about our new event just for ATA Stewards. The new “Steward Conferences” incorporate more than just a quick introductory class for new Stewards; they are opportunities for new AND veteran Stewards to get together, gain new knowledge, share experiences and celebrate their collective awesomeness. They will combine classroom opportunities with hands-on work and loads of fun. It’s a seminar, a roundup and a hootenanny all in one! These conferences will be evolving with your input and knowledge, and will reflect the amazing depth of experience we have within our Stewardship program.
All stewards are encouraged to attend at least one of the bi-annual conferences in order to keep current on the strategies and tools available to help them in their work with the trail. It is a part of the ongoing commitment to excellence among our volunteers.
